Electronic Warfare – Land, Sea & Airborne ELINT/ESM Systems

CS-3030 ELINT/ESM System

The self-contained CS-3030 ELINT-ESM subsystem is used for radar signal intercept, analysis and direction finding. Our fully integrated subsystems use high-performance microwave ELINT/ESM tuners with inclusive coverage from 100 MHz to 18 GHz and options for Millimetre Microwave (MMW) coverage.

Rounding out the CS-3030 subsystem, the CS-1018 Spinning DF & Omni antenna covers the range of 0.5 to 18 GHz, with options for MMW coverage, while the CS-1040 Spinning DF & Omni antenna covers the frequency range from 0.5 to 40 GHz. A fibre-optic control interface allows the pulse analyser to be separated from the antenna by large distances, precluding the need for large, heavy cable assemblies.

The compact CS-3030 ELINT/ESM subsystem can be installed in fixed-site, mobile and shipboard applications. The rugged design and superior dynamic range enable high performance in harsh conditions and dense emitter environments. In addition, multiple subsystems can be networked together to enhance formulation of a concise, real-time Electronic Order of Battle (EOB).

CS-3045 Airborne ELINT/ESM System

The self-contained CS-3045 Airborne ELINT/ESM subsystem is an airborne version of the CS-3030 system. It is used for radar signal intercept, analysis and direction finding.

Our subsystems use high-performance microwave ELINT-ESM tuners with inclusive coverage from 100 MHz to 18 GHz and options for Millimetre Microwave (MMW) coverage.

Completing the CS-3045 subsystem, the CS-1018ABN Airborne Spinning DF Antenna and the CS-1218 Airborne Omni Antenna cover the range of 0.5 to 18 GHz, while the CS-1040ABN Airborne Spinning DF covers the range of 0.5 to 40 GHz.

CS-3600 Ship ESM System

The self-contained CS-3600 ESM system is a compact, rugged, high-performance ship ESM system covering the 2 to 18 GHz frequency range. The system achieves a very high percent probability of intercept by using an IFM receiver and omni antenna. The DF antenna is a six-sided array that uses phase and amplitude comparison to provide AOA of reach pulse with 2 degrees RMS DF accuracy. The system automatically detects, measures, identifies and tracks radar emitters, and can be used to fulfil ESM, ELINT and RWR missions. The fast reaction time can tip on-board combat systems for self-protection.

CS-3240 Airborne Auto ELINT System

The CS-3240 Airborne ELINT Subsystem consists of Omni and Direction Finding (DF) antennas, receivers, signal processors and operator workstations designed for use in airborne applications.

CS-3240 Systems may be used for automatic ELINT or ESM applications and consist of mature, field proven equipment and software that detects, captures and identifies modern radar signals within dense RF Signal environments.

The CS-3240 System frequency coverage is supported from 2 to 18 GHz with options for lower and higher frequency coverage available such as the CS-1040ABN Spinning DF Antenna from 0.5 MHz to Millimetric Wave coverage.

The CS-3240 System comes with powerful Java based GUI software that has been designed to provide complete control of simple or complex ELINT and ESM subsystems. The analysis software tools provide excellent visualisation and statistical displays of collected emitter intercept data.

The CS-3240 System consists of standard product equipment that has been fielded
and is in production as stand alone equipment or as part of larger systems. To meet the widest range of customer requirements, there are multiple part numbers available for antennas, RF distribution networks, microwave receivers, radar pulse analysers and operator workstations.

PRISM-6090 Precision Intercept Spectral Monitoring System (PRISM)

The PRISM system is a complete full range spectral monitoring system that covers a frequency range from 0.5 to 18 GHz (40 GHz optional).

The PRISM RF Search System generates RF spectral displays across the 0.5 to 18 GHz frequency range for fast detection of signal activity.

The PRISM-6090 contains an RC-5800 RF Tuner, a CS-6080 Wideband IF Digitizer and a CPU that communicates to a host via a GigE LAN.

The powerful and flexible PRISM GUI is a derivative of the widely used Rockwell Collins SAT GUI. Signal activity across the entire 0.5-18 GHz RF spectrum is displayed in customizable frequency windows. User convenience functions such as peak search and manual/auto tipping help operators to identify and collect on specific signals of interest. A threshold function acts as a threshold for the waterfall display and a detection threshold for the auto tipping function.

30 MHz – 8 GHz RF Spectral Sensor

The RF Spectral Sensor provides high speed spectral scans for applications that require low power and small form factor.  It is capable of scanning frequencies from 30 MHz to 8 GHz at a rate of up to 20 GHz/sec.

Based upon a hybrid combination of superheterodyne techniques and digital sampling the RF Sensor possesses significant signal processing capability

Signals Intelligence Exploitation Solution

The Rockwell Collins Signals Intelligence Exploitation Solution is a comprehensive exploitation software tool set integrated into a state of the art body worn intercept solution.

The solution intercepts and exploits worldwide analogue and digital communications standards due to the global expansion of wireless technologies and cellular networks by paramilitary, terrorist and organised criminal organisations.
